My Approach
The present moment contains the natural path forward for you.
The acorn already contains all the information within it needed to be a great oak tree. The potential that you are stepping into – the resolution to your problem, the healing of your childhood wounds, and your unowned truth – are all contained in the acorn of the present moment. My job as a coach is like one of a good arborist: to know where to bring attention and awareness, bring challenge and deconstruction, and where to support and nourish you on your path to growth.
Synthesizing Surrender and Directionality
I take a unique approach that combines the benefits of two classical approaches to coaching - going with the flow and guiding the outcome.
This approach recognizes that life is a dynamic process, full of unexpected twists and turns and that sometimes the best approach is to let go of control and simply surrender to what is.
It also acknowledges that having direction and purpose is important for growth and fulfillment. You are here to be coached because there is something tangible in your life that needs commitment and support to be created.
What gets created when we maintain directionality while holding a deeper surrender together in our sessions is a particular kind of magic that leads to open, truthful inquiry and deeper connection.
What you are ultimately left with is a deeper understanding of yourself, your values, and your commitments.
An Integral Approach To Change
How would it look to integrate ancient shamanic spiritual technology with proven methods from transpersonal and developmental psychology? The base of my approach to integration and repatterning is based in Integral Theory. The integral approach attempts to include as many perspectives, styles, and methodologies as possible within a coherent view of a topic.
Throughout my journey, I have been constantly absorbing and synthesizing information from many different sources. As a seeker of knowledge and truth, I find myself constantly taking in different maps of how to interpret and slice the experience of the world. Each map of the world offers another way of understanding truth, from science to astrology, from indigenous wisdom of the plants to developmental psychology, and from systems engineering to emergent we-space practices.
Each way of interpreting can live somewhere on this integral map. With each new person I work with, I hold the process of change they are going through in a similar way - viewing and holding all lenses of their beingness and process.

A Shamanic Lens of Healing and Transformation
Your health and healing can be broken down into four components: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, and Emotional. A few shamanic and indigenous belief structures that guide the way I look at the world are:
Mind, body, and spirit are all interconnected.
Healing is based on harmony and balance.
Healing is a sacred process.
Healing is a personal meaning-making process.
Healing involves multiple interactive processes.
Wellness represents harmony.
There is an active relationship between the physical and spirit world.
Integration doesn’t only involve psychedelics. Integration is the process of weaving the outcomes of our catalyst of awareness and release into our lives. The catalyst could be psychedelics, a transformative experience, or a coaching session. Once the catalyst has taken effect, the rest is up to you.
The pace of a cycle of integration can vary in length for every individual. For some this is happening over months or years, for some this is happening over days and hours.
For psychedelics journies, we work together on each step of the process - the preparation, intention setting, and clarification before the process. I work as your mirror and your trusted guide to interpreting the metaphors and the subtleties of your experience. All the way to understanding what are the actions we are being called into taking in our day-to-day lives to support the new way of being we are being invited into.
How Change Occurs
Upper Left - Change occurs through insight and from inside the client - Profound access to inner experience
Upper Right - Change occurs through action, results, and accountability - Access to a plan that gets you results
Lower Left - Change occurs through conversation & connection with another - Gain access to breakthroughs that come from the mirror of our coaching relationship and the relationships in your life
Lower Right - Change occurs by looking at whole systems and how you fit into those systems (family, work, society) - Advancing your understanding of how you fit within larger systems
Many coaching approaches take only one of these approaches but an integral approach is required for holistic change.
